We at Equitas Small Finance Bank in association with Tata Motors organized an outreach program to provide commercial vehicle-loans to truckers and new aspiring drivers on the 11th and 12th of November at 182 Equitas Bank branches across the country.
We aim to boost credit in a bid to aid liquidity for businesses and create jobs through these loan melas in lines with the vision of Government Of India.
The loan mela was organized to cater to those who are engaged in the transportation business and for people who are buying commercial vehicles for the first time . The two day event kick-started with the dealers from Tata Motors bringing in their commercial vehicles which was kept on displaying their commercial vehicle for test drive.
The mela was conducted in the dealership premises where both Equitas customers and New to Bank customers participated . This mela was a one-stop destination for customers to access auto loans. The counters for loan enquiries were open from 9:30 am and customers approached the Equitas counter to understand the schemes and interest rates. Insurance , rate of interest and RTO expenses were discussed with the customers. A detailed communication about the Loan mela and its features were circulated around the Bank catchment areas and to the existing customers for three days ,prior to the event date. The event winded up at 6pm on both days and touch based close to 1000 customers.
The Tata Motor vehicles on display were – Tata Ace and Tata Intra . The association with this brand has been beneficial as they manufacture vehicles that endure the roughest terrains which is best fitted for road trippers that endures heavy cargo loads and is most suitable for long distance road trips.
